Can I convert between metric and imperial units?

Yes. This calculator is designed specifically for common metric-to-imperial and imperial-to-metric conversions within supported categories.

Why can't I convert weight into volume?

Because those are different physical quantities. You can only convert between units in the same category unless density information is also known.
